Anyone seen this Incredible footage ? some lios attack a baby buffalo, chase it int a river, a crocodile intervenes, the lions pull the buffalo out of the water, then the herd of buffalo attack the lions.
It lasts 8 minutes but well worth it

Hi John, I watched this on the news at the weekend. It was an amazing bit of videoing by the holiday maker.

So pleased the baby buffalo managed to free itself too!

The newsreader gave the impression that the big buffalo chased the lions away & that the baby buff was saved - but it doesn't appear that way at the end of the video.

Does anyone know whether it did survive?

Wow! Do you think the buffalo only went to the rescue because they could see the baby was still alive?
SMudge, thanks to the other buffalo, the baby was able to walk away from the lions and into the safety of its herd. I certainly hope it survived its injuries, they mustve been really bad though after being the tug of war between lions and a crocodile!
