you know when people have braces and they get that wax to put over sharp bits...would that work??

yes it may help, would you happen to know where i could get it.
I think some chemists sell a sort of tooth repair pack for just this sort of thing, try an all night one if you have one nearby, good luck, Ray
ummm i think a chemist would probably sell them - or if you walk past a dentist they will have it - it doesnt have to be your dentist you buy it from

Ouch - this happened to my boss when he was on holiday abroad! He stuck a lump of chewing gum firmly in the hole inbetween eating, until he came home the next day & saw his dentist.

Good luck.
You need lots of strong painkillers and soft/mushy food until Monday!
I think that sugar free chewing gum is your best bet, but once your mouth gets used to it, you probably wont notice - but at the moment your tongue will be drawn to it because it feels different.

When I had a temporary crown fitted, my dentist told me the best thing to use if it came off was sugar free chewing gum - oh and not eating toffees!! Shame on you and with a name like fruit salad too!!! lol.

You may not get toothache at all - just try to keep it clean.
Oh yes, sugar free of course! ;o}
