Hi tiggertan,
I have no real opinions one way or another as when I have had mine done, it was always general information that could have been given to anyone.
However, I have booked a gentleman to come to our Complex on Tuesday to do 7 readings. Seems he has a brilliant reputation for reading tarot cards and people travel quite a distance for a reading from him, so will update you on Tueday evening when I get home from work.
Seen literally hundreds over the years and havnt met one who was convincing. After looking into the paranormal and the occult - for over 20 years - I have to say that there is nothing supernatural about what they do. As an experiment I used to read the tarot for people, and managed to convince them that I was the genuine article, they even recommended me to their friends.And im about as psychic as a teapot. There will always be people who believe what they want to believe regardless of the facts I'm afraid
I went on a free internet psychics site for a bit of a laugh, and within a few minutes of being in there,,someone started to give details of things that sounded familiar. I didn't say anything for a while, but more and more things began to ring true. Eventually I said that the messages may be for me, and the psychic went on to do a reading which included dates, names, events and objects, all of which were relevant. The thing that really stood out was that she mentioned that she was beiong shown African Violets. I had bought a pot of them that day for the first time ever!
The whole thing was free, and I never answered anything more than one word answers. She can't have read my reactions as it was over the internet. Still to this day I can't come up with a logical explanation. Even my totally sceptical husband can't.
Also, when I was a teenager someone came into the shop I was working in, and read my palm (for free!). Everything she said was right.
I think there are loads of charlatans out there, but I think there are a few people with a real 'gift'
It's all total ********.;

Tigger it was psychics.co.uk ,but I'm going back a couple of years. Good luck!

To those who said it's a load of rubbish, how do you explain how this person I'd never met knew that I'd dropped my wedding ring in the road, that I'd bought African violets, that my Nan had a rose planted in her garden to remember my aunt that was killed in a car accident and provided me with other accurate information? I admit, as I've said, that a lot of psychics are fraudsters but I still can't work this one out. It's not even as if he/she had anything to gain financially.
If any of the sceptics can come up with an explanation I'd like to hear it as this has been bugging me for years!!
I have read that half of the pack of the original tarrot cards were burt centurys ago, so they arn't playing with a full deck, pardon the pun.
When I was a teenager I was very interested in this kind of thing and went to loads of 'fortune tellers'. They were all absolute rubbish bar one. She was a quite well-known psychic based in London and when I made the appointment all she knew was that I was female. She was a psychometrist and she was brilliant. I gave no clues, she just held on to my watch and came out with my future for the following 6 years. She was spot on! Names, places and dates just poured out and I wrote it down immediately afterwards. I went back 7 years later but the gift seemed to have deserted her. In fact, she was rather surprised when I told her how accurate she had been the first visit! I haven't been to a psychic since.
Be honest here, if someone really had the gift, is the best way that they could think of using it likely to be appearing on a free Internet site?
I had my cards read 6 years ago, while in the early stages of pregnancy. (Only my husband and I knew as we were waiting for a big family occasion coming up soon after to make a big announcement.) The tarot reader had come to read cards at a friend's house, and had arranged to read for 6 people only. I went in fifth, and before i sat down, she said "It's you that's pregnant, isn't it?" and proceeded to tell me it had come up in the previous 4 readings, and that it had confused her until I walked in and it all fell into place. The previous four were confused too, because they all said they didn't know anyone who was expecting when she asked. And of course they were telling the truth because until I told them afterwards, they HADN'T known. Quite spooky? To get the same thing right for 5 people in a row and not take no for an answer!??
