Well.........!

Nice to see you're in a cheery mood then 4get!

Not quite sure.....murder?
i gotta say murder
Both heinous but with adequate support many people can go on to lead a happy life and put the past behind them after rape, with murder that would not be possible, so murder.

BOO it stemming on from my post earlier this morning where there seems to be a bit of a debate going on. I'm in a great mood :-) Its Friday. :-)
Murder is worse. Oh and HI there 4getmenot. I hope you din't forget me!
Because a high percentage of people who are murdered are murdered by someone they know and is quite oftern linked to personal involvement in some form I would say Rape.

Rape tends to be more of an anomonous crime where the victim does not know their attacker. A murder not committed by someone the victim knows is sometimes led on from a sexual attack. Therefore the rape part is the desire in the first place before the murder.

Therefore Rape/sexual harm desire is a worse crime .....in my opinion

Well... if I had to choose....

Can you smell the sarcasm?
pa-ul - a murder victim could never get to the point of forgiveness or acceptance.

Thankfully, many rape victims do.

It is surprising how resilient people are. People can suffer dreadful atrocities and eventually come to terms with it.

Where there is life there is hope.
Murder by far. Legally of course the only crime were the sentance is set in stone.

The rape laws are too vague and seriously need amending.

Also when Max was introducing Jennifer and Jonathan Hart in the classic series Hat to Hart, he didn't say in his rumbling voice "When they get together it's raaaaaape".

However for 5 points what was the name of the Hart's dog?
For whom? The victim or the perpetrator?
Don't hold me to it but I'm pretty sure most reported rapes are committed by someone the victim knows too.
yes but a higher percentage of rape victims do not know their attacker.
wardy -Freeway.
Absolute pants. About 95 percent of victims know their attacker. Most are husbands or boyfriends, and then followed by date rapes (hence they know them). The classic "stalker" or "hollywood" rape is fairly rare, thankfully.
murder, for the same reasons as Tiny said
5 points to the battle swine.
Murder. I'm surprised that it's debateable. Horrific thing to say, but what would you prefer to happen to you? I'm guessing you'd rather have a chance to put your life back together however hard, than be dead.
does it matter who knows who??? i still say murder is worse, a close friend of mine got raped when she was just 13 (by someone she did not no) and beaten black and blue
she now walks around with her head held high and says she'll never forgive but is trying to forget she also thanks her lucky stars she's still alive
Murder, it's hardly a competition is it?

People can get over their rape but obviously not a murder.

People are generally raped by someone they know, just like murders. I would have thought statistically they were pretty similar. If I were to be raped, I would rather not know or trust my attacker.
