The assassination of Rabin really affected me a lot. But not because he was famous, just because of the circumstances and implications.

As for pete Duel, he brought me together with 3 people who are now very close friends, so I owe him for that :)
I actually got really upset when John Denver died....
ghandi.............
I got a lump in my throat watching Princess Di`s funeral when her brother did his speech
Princess Di for me, I was doing a job for this guy who was so distressed he didnt pay me for a week!!!
I confess I did not know who Pete Duel was. The lead photo of him on IMDB looks rather like Richard Hammond. Am I alone in this discovery?

Pete Duel walked this earth for too short a time eh Linda, but even though he passed in 1971 i can safely say there is not a single day goes by that he is not brought to mind, and answerbank has increased that so much.

Not in the same league as others mentioned here... but I was suprised how much Kurt Cobain's death got to me... I was really into them in the early 90's... groundbreaking... and suddenly realised there'd be no more Nirvana...
no bill he was not shot, he was the victim of celebrity, he was the victim of stardom, he messed up and it went wrong.
come on dot
shame the Devil
As soon as I saw his face dotty, I recognised him. Only from Alias Smith and Jones, I hasten to add.

Guess the similarities with Richard Hammond are only in my head then. Nevermind.
No one tells me nothing!!
