i didnt really know where to put this but as this seems the most popular, here goes what benefits could a 60 year old man who has worked all his life and recently lost his job claim for?

contact your local benefits agency or the welfare rights officer at your social work department who will help you with a claim,
how about trying business and finance or law or jobs...
because he knows he may get more responses on this topic. joko

Once a man passes 60 he does not need to buy a NI stamp towards his state pension.

your answer is very interesting kwicky because he has paid his NI stamp up to now, i think it would be wise for him to pay a visit to the c.a.b tomoro and find out just what he is entitled to.
err... hang on - i have listed 3 more suitable catagories for him, where he might get replies from people who actually know the correct answers - the reason they may be looking in that topic - and i am being unhelpful?
