Well go get a girlie then!! Work sucks but we all have to do it to survive. Don't be stuck at home, go out and have some fun. And you're too young to be feeling down about life. I'm the same age as you but am out there having fun. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and go get laid!!!
i'm a lady and here's my interest! i know what you mean. Life's so short and i hate wasting it doing a job i hate everyday. i feel so disappointed when i wake up because i'm just getting up to go to my stinking job! feels like i'm waiting for all the good stuff to happen but dont want to wait years. but remember jibjab that you are only 24 and tonnes of time to enjoy your life. how long have u been single? are you doing what you really want to do? if not make something happen and make you work something that you love so you're happy going to work everyday. plus, we all have phases like this. you're not alone :-)
'Fraid I don't feel the same at all. I tend to go with the flow so anything can happen from one day to the next.

It helps to be a bit of a social butterfly if you want to get out and about to meet new people. I meet people all the time. I just find people so interesting and love to share a good laugh.
I suspect that your mates 'settled with kids' or 'in the army' Probably (!) feel just the same as you do from time to time.

Go on Camp America or something similar, my relative did for 3 years and had a brill time (plenty of ladies he visits all over the world) It is about the right time to apply now, loads of fun, new places, new friends. Off your butt and go for it!
