hi folks, i am in the general gardening business and recently a sub contractor i know has gone on the sick with a bad back!! not only does he get his rent paid for his house he also has had a massive reduction with his council tax and gets all the healthcare for nothing, ie dentist ,optition and whatever and the government has made it hard for him to go back to work as his life is very easy now (he never wanted much from life anyway)!! as a hard working tax payer my question is.... do you have to walk funny and talk with a high pitched voice when you go to the doctors for this or can i just be myself? its gonna be great watching daytime TV.....................jeremy kyle for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to know an awful lot about his finances.

When I was on long term sick I was entitled only to IB from the state, which I paid tax on. Nothing else. No free glasses, prescriptions, reduced council tax - nothing.

did you fake your injuries aswell???
Hardly - I was in a very serious road accident. In traction.

then you deserve to be looked after by the state.....but the sarcastic point i was making is that this perfectly "fit" person is now claiming of the tax pot and is being treated like royalty!!

the stupis thing is.... he can now afford to move to a bigger house because the government will give him up to 500 per month towards his rent!! at the moment in his 2 bed house he is paying 300 per month!!!!
rugeleyboy there is a free phone number you can call to shop this fraud!! These leeches on our society make me sick (lol). They should be shot at dawn for "stealing" off the tax payer.
Question Author
but how can you prove he doesnt have a bad back???

the sad thing is ...i am good friends with him and he genuinly is a good hard worker who has been dealt the "sh1t life " card!!!

i have told him i think he is scum but he laughed and said "cold today init"!!!!!
They have rheumatologists (working within the DHSS) who carry out various tests with the claimant to see if they are faking or not.

Doesn't sound like a sh1t life to me, if he's getting all these benefits and can sit on his fat @rse doing bu$$er all!!

Get yourself a helium balloon rb inhale then see your GP LOL ;-)
Hi ruge, the trouble is if it is genuine injury it is hard to get anything, my son has to beg for every little bit of help, and he had his back broken in 3 places, plus his hip joint sheared off, when you go to the Drs lie like hell you won't get much if you tell the truth.
Question Author
crikey ray, is he ok now??

joking apart, i do suffer with a bad back and carry on regardless because i have to!! but you do see people around ,like this lad, who are obviously taking the p1ss!
Hi ruge,

yes thanks, he is doing ok, a 14 ft trench collapsed on him at work, 4 years next feb, he is going in for hip replacement hopefully before christmas, he is 28 and might never work again, but he is still here and he can walk about. cheers ruge.
