great bollywood films

I'm looking for a good bollywood film for a present . We loved Devdas,but don't know much about any other movies.Any ideas(for DVD)?

what about the fantastic mahabarat tv series? is that bllywood (sorry if ive just offended a whole race or religion)

No, I'm looking for a classic bollywood movie with lots of music,dancing and colour, and just wondered if there was another famous one like Devdas.

Ganesh, I'm no expert in this field, but I saw a wonderful film last year called "Munna Bhai MBBS". It had Sunil and Sanjay Dutt in it, was very funny and had some great ensemble dancing. It's about alleviating illness through laughter etc. I'm a cynical old git, but I laughed... and cried! Check it out on IMDB. Good luck.
