I was looking for the cable to my camera and the last place I could think of was my b/f's laptop case as we took it on hil,and the tickets were in the side pocket where the cable had last been - oh ******!
i hope it is your present :-)
I remember when I was little Id asked for a hi-fi and the night before my birthday I went into my mum and dads shower room and there it was sitting on the floor. Woops. Anyway the next morning I went into their bedroom and sat on their bed waiting for presents and they gave me 2 small packages from them. I opened them and had a folder in one and a clipboard in the other. All the time looking at the bathroom door thinking hang on what about the stereo. My face must have been classic until they said now go look in the shower room :-)

Yes its my pressie - my name is on the tickets.

My birthday is on the 24th.I will have to practise looking very surprised!!

lol 4getmenot - isnt it a blooming pain when you genuinely don't mean to find things! He must have received the tickets in the post the day we went away and stuffed them in the side pocket in a hurry! Oh,and I love surprises!!
Ah hun, that is such a lovely present!! You are a very lucky lady!!!!
awwww what a cool pressie
oooh a fellow Libran.

Aww what a lovely present. I've experienced the same thing - I was whisked away on a trip to Edinburgh via train. The tickets arrived via post a couple of weeks beforehand. My darling boyfriend must have forgotten that when I was at uni, I had train tickets delivered every week! So I knew exactly what the envelope looked like and everything...
I saw a helicopter fly over the front of our hotel yesterday morning. it was following the Thames and we were opposite The Tate Modern and Big Ben was just diagonally opposite and the London Eye was to my right on our side of the river and Horseguards accross the river to the left, and so I guess that is the tour you will be doing! It must be amazing from the air. I saw Battersea Power Station for the first time too, that was jst over the Vauxhall Bridge and I was amazed at how big it looked It will be excellent as you will see a different aspect to everything, like into the inner courts of the famous buildings, and you will see just how close everything famous is to one another too i guess. I am envious, what a brill pressie, take the cancorder!
