Hey peeps,

Had this pain on the top of my foot for a good week or so now.

i can't pin point an exact area but its around and above the toe next by big one and the one next to that.

It doesnt hurt when i play football or when im on tip toe - only when i bloody walk!!!

Any foot experts or any ideas what i may have done?

i had a pain like this, i found out it was the shoes i always had on!! they had a pattern on the front and the top of my foot would rub on it giving me a massive amount of pain later in the day!!

ask dot, she is a shoe person? perhaps she can confirm this?

thanks rugeleyboy.

I do think it had something to with when i started wearig my pointy shoes to work and then flip flops..

possible something to do with the way my feet feels the need to grip onto the soles so my feet dont come loose...
Is it slightly red or pink? When I got gout, it started in the joints of the big toe and the toe next to it. Firstly it was just sore and red, then it became inflamed and then came the swelling. Get it checked out if it carries on or starts to look a bit swollen.

nope - no signs of redness, bruising or anything.

Got Docs on Thursday.... he'll probably send me home with pack of painkillers - knowing them.

Ive got football tonight - which i have to go to! So we'll see if it holds out.
Hi nat_84 It's definately your feet adapting to the different changes of footwear your wearing. Different typesof shoe, as you found out, use different muscles. My son had the same problem changing alternately from trainers to heavy construction safety boots.
