Thank You.I not understand but I to write what you say down exactly.Thank You.

When I gave birth I could not beleive how unkind the midwifes were. They changed shifts half way through and didnt seem to give each other any sort of handover. The equipment to check my babys heart rate in the water did not work; after giving birth no one came to see me I was just left and when I walked passed the office they were all sat gossiping drinking tea. Concidering having a baby is meant to be a joyous occassion they certainly didnt treat it this way. I think there has been so much said about how nurses are underpaid and over worked thay have created a chip on the shoulders! Lets face it why train to do a job knowing what pay you going to get and then bitch and moan about it, then take it out on your patients

When I had my daughter, I found the midwives to be very efficient but lacking in a bedside manner. I fully understand that to them they must see Gawd knows how many babies, however to me this was a special baby (as I imagine each baby is to the parents!!!) and I was made to feel that I and my baby were just another "batch on the conveyor belt"

Cannot fault their professionalism though.

They are doing a great job.

That aside aren't you supposed to be in Russia? And why would the Health Secretary require a report about the views held by the British public regarding the NHS written by a Russian who is resorting to going on a Q&A site to get feedback?

I think Mr sexyrussian senior is being very sensible in canvassing the views of the outer fringe of normality.

FANTASTIC....i was very ill 2 years ago, in fact i passed away and the doctors etc fought to save me, thankfully, as u can see...they did lol

....i didnt know anything about it, but my family tell me they worked and worked on me....i will always be gratful to the hospital......

...that said...if my GP had 'come out' to me instead of just guessing which antibiotics i needed, i wouldnt have been so ill....i called her on the monday...when she finally came on the thursday i was on deaths door, and had to have paramedics and the flashing amblulance bit..

e coli septicima btw (not sure on the spelling tho )

For goodness sake!

Regardless of who you all think this may be, they've asked a decent question and as such don't you think (this is afterall a Q&A forum) that they deserve the appropriate responses?

Is O.K I only to hear sensible replies.I need opinions and think internet to be good place to fine them.My daughter to be out at moment with boyfriend I to think is O.K for me to use this name.Yes?I not want to write other question so not want to register my own name.To change subject to my question original.

BOO ~ sorry, I just wondered why he was asking about the NHS, that's all..just a bit of clarification!

I have had both good and bad experiences with the NHS..mostly bad, but there you go ~ and yes, mostly bad where maternity care is concerned. With regards to other illnesses I have usually diagnosed myself after doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me.

They were very grateful to me as I saved them a lot of work!

However I do have to say that the Doctors I have dealt with have always been far to busy with their medical work to undertake any other business ventures ;o)
