Weightwatchers is the one that I have heard best reports of

I can't recommend a diet but I swapped eating a baguette/sandwich everyday for lunch to eating a home-prepared salad and am into a pair of jeans that I could never get into. Don't know how much i've lost but rather than being a 12-14 i am a 12. And all I did was change my lunch which I have done for about 5 weeks now. And drink loads of water too. As much as you can manage!!
Yeah - eat less.
Only 1 diet that will work. Eat less, exercise more

I tried many diets and the only one I really had success with was using the system on the following websitewww.slimmingcentres.co.uk

They give you sensible advice and it works! Good luck!

Have a really pointless argument with a close one, boyfriend, member of family etc then you get all upset and dont eat for days and lose weight through worrying. Works everytime :-)
If you want to keep the weight off then you'll need to make permanent changes to your diet. Substitute something bad in your diet with something good, e.g. as loobie has done.
wow where would we be without the wisdom of spinchump oops sorry I mean spinchimp and fat boy

Q. "wow where would we be without the wisdom of spinchump oops sorry I mean spinchimp and fat boy "

A. Overweight, yo-yo dieting & posting questions on AB asking the best way to lose weight.

Topcat only wants to lose half a stone! And who mentioned yo-yo dieting? There is much more to healthy eating than eating less, so your advice is just rubbish and stating the obvious never helps anybody.

If you want a quick fix read the 3 day diet thread on Food and Drink

Well, which is it alijangra? Rubbish advice or stating the obvious?

The simple matter of fact is that the only diet that will ever work - if you don't want to be a yo-yo dieter - is to exercise more and eat better. I take your point that eating better does not necessarily mean less but 99 times out of a 100 it does. (No offence TopCat, I'm not saying you eat too much!)

Perhaps you could offer us some of your expert advice?

'spinchump', ho,ho.ho, falls about laughing!
Not really.
