What do you do for a living now? If you could be anything (no limits), what would you be? What did you always want to be when you 'grew up'? x

International Anti Terrorism Agent
Littlemissx....when I was young I said I wanted to be an accountant....and am.....now THATS sad !
Zorro...Im the exact opposite to you.

I am currently an International Anti Terrorism Agent and my dream job is to be an accountant.
I've been a performer in NYC. Worked in theater my whole life (im 24). Fell madly in love 5 years ago but he lives in my hometown., also near my whole family. So without the other details, I moved home in November and I teach dance and theater at night, I perform around my area in semi-professional theater (which is nothing compared to what I worked with in NY), and during the day I work for Acura. Not too exciting anymore. Down the road, I would like to work in the community, some type of social work, or psychology.
I loved horses when I was little and always said I would own a riding school. Then I was a rebellious teenager and discovered boys and ignored horseriding, I wish so much I had followed that dream, too late in life now though. I'm a civil servant (yuk)
Whiskeysheri- What about you?

Interesting question: In my 1985 diary (aged 15) I went on and on about wanting to make comedy- films, TV, anything so long as I was writing it and acting in it. It was all I did at that age. But my fear was that I would end up teaching drama or music or art.

20 years later, I am teaching music and art, but desperately want to be working in comedy. It will happen- but it is very difficult to indulge these amazing career ideas when you are older and have a mortgage...

at the moment im studying to get where i want to be in life

ideally i want to be an opera singer

but i guess i'll settle for being a english teacher

when i was 5 i wanted to be peter pan and never grow up!!!

dancealot13,

I'm a PA at the moment and I hate it.

I would give anything to be a midwife. I have applied to university and to hospitals for experience, so fingers crossed.

When I was younger I want to be an ice-cream van lady! :-)) x

And there'd be none left for the customers i bet, Whiskey if you were !
Hugh Heffners replacement!!!!

i'm a secondary school teacher and i love it. it has it's good and bad times but generally it's great. someimes i'd love to have a bit of officebanter that we do miss out on...chats round the photocopier etc...although the PE teachers always wear shorts which can be a bit of a work bonus!!

i'm on easter hols at mo too so i get a lie in!

not great money though considering i trained for 4 years...most of my mates without degrees earn more and get better perks..but it's not about the money.

Id also like one shot at stand-up (eh comedy)...ive been told i could do this, i love an audience...id also love to act..apparantly a born actress. being in the position of planning and delivering courses, ive cunningly added drama to the course curriculum for this year so i may just well get my oscar yet.....my sis used to work for a photographer and her job was to hold cold trays onto the models nipples...bet you guys wouldav loved that job!!!! heheheh
I'm a sound enginner, for recording studios and live event, and it's pretty much what I want to do.

Hey Zorr0, what are you implying? ;-)
I'd be working with a conservation unit helping to rear orphaned chimps or gorillas.

I would like to be (although not at the same time):

1) Author (column writer or novelist)

2) Comedian (Stand up and sketch)

3) Newsreader

4) Cartograher

5) Photographer (Models and the like)

6) Traveller (Over Britain)

7) Politician (Conservative)

8) Model (male, as I was unfortunately born male)

9) King of England

10) Inventor

I'm an electrician but when I left school I wanted to be a chef. Shame really, because if I'd followed that path, I could have had my own TV series by now and a string of best selling cook books.

My ideal job. that's easy. Kylie Minogue's bicycle seat.

I'm training as a projectionist so I'm pretty close tomy dream job...
However, if you ever watched "Dumb and Dumber" (yes I know, a movie reference, how telling!) the job offered to our favourite dummies might actually be my dream job!

On reflection though, I am also a keen rock collector so given the appropriate funds I'd love to travel the world prospecting for a wide variety of minerals and export/import them to make my living.

I would like to write for film and TV. I would of liked to act, but I am too shy and not enough self steam because of being bullied :(
