Because there aren't any places on the course left. EVER! :(
I'm training to help people who are bereaved. My training finishes in September. My friends lost their son 18 months ago, and I couldn't help them other than be there as a shoulder to cry on. It made me wonder how many people are out there suffering when death takes someone they love away.

I would rather be a singer and dancer.
Too few opportunities and too late to make a go if it now I am nearly 49. I only found my voice a few years ago and my body is too worn out for dancing.

There isn't any job I'd rather have, as I don't like working.

I'm doing my current job, as it's the easiest, most stress free job I've ever had and the little bit of money I get, goes towards my mortgage.

I've been doing stupid call center jobs because I thought it was the only thing I could do, as a French-speaker in a foreign country, so I feel like I've wasted too many years doing that. I have a Masters in Politics, and a post grad in translation, but I've had too little confidence to ever try naything more challenging. So this year I'm going to take a teaching course and try to become a teacher of French for adults. :O)
