Your choice.
If it were me, I would just carry on life as usual but avoiding old people and immune compromised patients and chronic pulmonary cardiovascular disease until you test negative.

Thank you, Sqad. I won't be going to visit my eighty+ years old friends then.
I am really annoyed about it as I/we have managed not to contract Covid in the last three years!
Your unlikely to be positive in a week so its not too long to wait before you get back to normal. Depends how you feel aswell...you may feel you need to rest

Thanks, Bobb. I feel as if I have a rotten cold with associated tiredness. I will take it easy for a couple of days.
If you don't mind infecting other people, then do whatever you like. If you'd prefer not to pass on a potentially fatal infection, then isolate yourself for a couple of weeks. Do you have grandchildren?
Just do what you would normally do if you caught the flu. No need to do anything else.
hullo wd you like my cold
I wd keep a distance
and no kissing ( with tongues)
Tilly; Why would you take a chance at infecting your nearest and dearest with a potentially fatal disease? I urge you to stay away from others for a relatively short time.
Atheist, do you really think Tilley wouldn't take care?
Ps...feel better quickly Tilly.
pasta; I don't know Tilly. I just urged her to take care.
I'll probably get stick for this. It's not just nearest and dearest. I can't count how many times my husband picked up a cold or flu and then spent days or weeks in hospital. Could be the person in front if you in a queue carrying on as usual because they feel well enough to go out. Covid is not a cold or flu.
I know you'll take care though, Tilly.
Rest up and be well soon. It's the tiredness that can be most annoying.
don't go near your granny, Tilly
Jeez Atheist I haven't seen a post like that for months. It's almost nostalgic. Would be saying that to Tilly if she had said she had a stinking cold or flu? Anyway sorry Tilly, I understand if it has made you fed up. Get well soon!
Prudie; I think that people are still catching covid and dying. If I'm wrong, I'd love to hear some reassurance from you (not just your feelings, but stats if possible)
Good to see project fear is alive and well.
Well if you have a husband who could die from catching cold or flu from another you tend to be pretty fearful, 237.
That's fine Gness. Then you shield yourself and him. Just as it always used to be. The world didn't stop,
As an extremely vulnerable person it's no wonder I daren't go out.
The fear may be worse than the disease.
