Help For Extracted Teeth

Hole in the above is very painful - the wound feels like "cuts with salt" - I did however today - sipped salt water - anything else I can do.

4 days pain after extraction is not unusual.

Take Ibuprofen 400mgms every 6 hours or paracetamol 1,000 mgms every 4 hours if necessary for the pain.,

Ice cold pack over the face area would help, but I am not too sure about the saline mouth washes.

If by Tuesday or Wednesday you are still having problems then contact your dentist as you may well have a "dry socket."

Do we not have an ABer who is a Dentist? It would be nice to have some sort of list of ABers who have specialist knowledge for those of us who don't know because we haven't been around as long as everyone else. For e.g. a dentist, a vet, a solicitor etc......?
