I sent another email to the above at my doctor's surgery using her reply address. All I want is confirmation she has received the email but nothing.

I do have another address but instead of her name being on the email - it just says Receptionist blah blah. There are a few receptionists there like in and out from what I have seen so where would this email go to - like any of the receptionists. Thanks for any answers.

Think Receptionists are very busy people JJ and will answer emails in between taking telephone calls. Just have confidence that your email has been received.

well when you have sent the email from Wednesday do think a little response would be manners.
Tbh they don’t have to accept your emails so I think you should give the a bit of slack
Its not difficult to add an automatic 'reply' facility to an incoming email to let the recipient know the practice had received it and they will deal with it as quickly as they can.

Well RH - perhaps you didn't see earlier emails but I have been given the privilege of emails. Even my own doctor emailed recently about my teeth problems to refer me onto an oral surgeon.
I did see your earlier emails and I repeat they don’t have to give you special privileges but they have so be patient, you are not the only patient they have
Practice Managers wouldn't usually give their own email address to patients so an automatic reply like that may not be appropriate.
She may be off sick or just very busy.
I would think an email addressed to receptionist would go to a team of staff but still may be worth a try. I'd try the usual methods of contacting the surgery as well as the Practice Manager email.

APG - that was mentioned before but I wouldn't do that as (to me as I'm forcing their hand) in answering.

The reason I am a little concerned the practice manager did NOT receive my last 4 emails after I got neighbour to ring and that is what is what she said.
I think APG means the practice should set up an automatic response, not you.
Jenny -as Zac says -the Practice sets up an automatic response to all incoming emails saying they have received your email and will get back as soon as they can.
Question Author
APG - yes I wouldn't mind that automatic response but that doesn't happen.

just an update, no she didn't get my Wednesday email but when I used her "reply email" - she has responded.
You must be typing her address incorrectly, just reply to her emails in future
