Yes I know I’m accident prone, but ever since I slipped on the stairs two days ago and fell directly backwards, crashing down directly on my back onto a hardwood floor, I’ve been in incredible pain. I can barely move without shouting out in pain. Mr smow has even had to help turn me over in bed as I just can’t do it on my own. I can hardly walk or even sit up. Am dosed up with painkillers. Doctor isn’t seeing anyone and all they would say to do it to go to A & E, but there is no way I can sit on a hard chair there for hours.
So, what would really be best treatment at home? Heat or ice?? I’ve tried getting a hot bath, with great difficulty, but it didn’t help at all.
Any advice much much appreciated, or anything I can try xx

Am shocked t how bad the pain is..... : (
I have injured mine too - it does take some weeks for it to heal.
When I top my phone up I'll send you a pic of my first injury. This one is nowhere near as bad but I still have bruises going up my spine.
Question Author
How did you injure it ummmm?
Ummm. I didn’t realise you’d had an accident, hope you feel better soon. You maybe lucky S and feel much better soon .
The first time I slipped in the bathroom, middle of the night, and hit it on the toilet really hard.

Second...again getting up in the night to use the bathroom. Instead of walking round the bed I climbed over Ginge, He lifted his leg up and I landed straight back in the same place (he was asleep)

I've no doubt it's broken.
Thanks, Anne, it's slowly getting better, but very frustrating.
