I do, but then I'm local like you. Otherwise plain boiled, I don't like roast potatoes.
Yes of course. I love mashed potato and can quite happily eat it with anything. They always serve mash with a Sunday dinner at local pubs !
(Back in the day of course when we could go out for Sunday lunch).
My husband prefers roast potatoes, but I love mash, I would have it with a roast anytime.
bit of both?
I do, and I’m having some tonight with a roast.

I prefer mash to boiled spuds ,not name dropping bednobs at all, but she thinks it could be a local thing and she got me thinking maybe it was :0/
Both for us. Mr T has more roast potatoes than I do though. I prefer mashed potatoes.
oh yes.. when somebody cooks for you, it compliments the roasters and gravy.
I like roast spuds too of course.
you are all a load of weirdos :)

I'm not fussed on roast potatoes but that's probably because when I went to Slimming World, they were off limits

Do you only have boiled spuds the bednobs?
I have never done mash with a roast. Occasionally new potatoes with lamb but otherwise roasted potatoes, golden and crisp on the outside, always fluffy on the inside. Come to think of it I have never served potatoes two ways in a dinner (it wouldn't leave enough plate room for all the other veg I do).
Used to both when I was child and also wen I brought my iwn family up.
we can't compete wi'tha posh folk darn sarf Bobbi :-)

I thought everyone did mash with a Sunday dinner :0/
last time i had a roast dinner it was breast of chicken, new potatoes, and veg.
If you're having beef I hope you'll be doing yorkies.
I only do mash with liver or for cottage pie and croquettes. Mind you, for croquettes I always make sure the mash is lump free by putting it through a flour sieve!
