no one is obliged to fill it out, but it to help the makers understand more about side effects and how to eliminate them.
But they don't last anyway Emmie? Mine lasted roughly 36-48 hrs , that's all
Question Author
mine didn't either bobbi, but its to help the doctors/makers to try and eliminate the side effects. as said no one is obliged to fill in the form - i did as i believe anything that helps...
The effects from my 2020 flu jab are still with me and are rare. My immune system has been compromised after delayed allergic shock. I think I will fill in that yellow form. I don't think flu like symptoms that only last a couple of days and we were warned about is what they are after. They need to know about rare side effects.
.
Thanks Emmie x
Arh right , I get you :0)
Question Author
its to help guys, so the link is there for anyone who has had adverse reactions...
I had my jab yesterday at my GP surgery. No waiting, in and out. The nurse who administered the vaccine gave me a leaflet which gave instructions should I experience any ill effects. It's like a questionnaire - maybe the same as yours emmie?
Question Author
no maggie, don't think so, its for those people with after effects specifically. it does ask your name, address, e mail so they send you a response after filling in the form.
Question Author
if you click on the link, it shows you. But if you had no illness afterwards, no need for form filling.
When the vaccine was first announced I'm sure I recall most ABers telling anyone who was worried about side effects to not be so daft (either nicely or not so nicely) but now every day I'm reading about you all feeling ill as though side effects are highly likely. It's certainly made me very apprehensive when my time comes, I'm almost not surprised why quite a sector are turning it down.
I think all experience and knowledge is useful. Tbh, we have had two clients now (87 and 94), who, even well afterwards, are still very sleepy and shivery on and off.
I was hoping that 3 weeks would be about the limit for side-effects, if that is how long it takes to work. But one has gone over that now and the other is never sleepy or unwell or fevery- but has been on and off for 2 weeks since vaccine.

prudie,
i told my doctor his morning when he phoned, and he too had side effects but from the Pfizer vaccination.
they do go off after a while, but some had it worse like poor barsel
who had sickness too.
I have my jab today at 4.10pm. I sincerely hope that I am not going to have to even look at that form.
Mr T had his last week and apart from feeling a bit chilly in the evening, he was fine. I expect to be fine too.
It's only the few who do experience side effects who come on sites like this to tell the world. So, to redress the balance, let me say that dozens of my friends (all over 70) have had the vaccine and not a single one has had any side effects apart from a slightly stiff arm for a day.
Question Author
no need to turn it down, if it does the trick...
Question Author
diddly, its not to tell the world as you so charmingly put it, its to help with the vaccine makers, doctors, scientists who all need as much info so they can make better vaccines. does that make sense now...
Mine was a big fluey like with a high temp and a terrible thirst but a couple of paracetamol later,I was fine, a bit lethargic on Wednesday but that's about it
Question Author
tilly, no one is saying you will get side effects... just that its been strangely mostly women on ab, who have had them.
Diddly, I'd be more than happy to post no side-effects. As I was expecting to, quite honestly. But... lying is not helpful or fair.
