Just got home after going out to have a cuppa and a piece of delicious cake. A slice of lime and coconut. A proper pleasure in life.
Now back to making some more cordial.
Meeting my two lovely nieces for lunch and a good old natter - roll on next Wednesday. What makes every day special for me though is being with my lovely dog who is the light of my life (along with my nieces of course).
Knowing I am cared for, not a day goes by without phone call chats or Skype messages and there are regular knocks on the door enquiring how I'm doing and if I need anything.
I’m thankful for the fact that my daughter is very happy helping the freshers at her uni to have the best time possible. She is having the best buzz of her life.
What would be special would be being pain free, but it aint going to happen. My pleasures in life are my animals, my OH and living in lovely countryside. And today it's having a wood burner! It's bloomin' freezing windy and wet here in North Norfolk.
