in fact we spent most days either having lunch or dinner out which was lovely...

all fine here ta...the anticipated storm has not yet arrived..so will probably spend the morning folding down chairs and turning tables and benches..take a few baskets down..try to minimise any damage

Morning all, the storm has passed through - my goodness, was it torrential at times and the wind whistling around. One of the main security alarms went off around 8, probably wind related - I realised some of the family were staying in their family house two hundred yards away and just off the bluebell field - so drove down there! The owner came up and neutralised the alarm but we both went and had a look to see if there had been any untoward doings as to the (empty) main house - I had sighted two men at a distance wandering around who I didn't recognise and, apparently, there were two unknown cars in the public carpark and she got pics of the number plates. Best to be sure than sorry.....

its was torrential yesterday but not too windy, that is supposed to hit us today, but no rain

doing ok boaty, as said might go out for lunch today if the weather holds.

there's a group that like to enter empty houses, not to squat, but just to be annoying - there's a word for such an action and them and I can't remember it.

what an odd thing to do, enter someone's home for the fun of it?
