In the sense that the PM is more accountable to Parliament than to Trump, doesn't she have a point?

Johnson should presumably be taking time off to recover for a while yet, though. Is that disrupted by a phone-call to Trump? Presumably not. But a short statement to MPs isn't unreasonable either, no?
Jim. I am pretty sure that he briefs Dominic Raab on matters concerning Parliament.
TTT - please refrain from giving a respected politician a stupid name. It makes you look pretty stupid.

jim: "In the sense that the PM is more accountable to Parliament than to Trump, doesn't she have a point? " - she would have a point if that was the case instead of a standard lefty supposition based on "chip on shoulder", spite because they are not getting the attention they crave.
Diddly //a respected politician//

Has I said before, he's avoiding the flak for has long as possible, and still waiting for Trump to write a speech for him.
diddlydo,TTT will pull out all the stops to put people down, when he fails, has he has done, his last option is to start a post with your name on it, same has he did with me, that's how you know he's failed. :0)
It is the case objectively, though. A Labour politician is still capable of making that point. Indeed your dismissal of it might be just as rooted in politics, if not more so.

Some people on this site and even more out there in the real world and the electorate believe that Boris is swinging the lead now regarding "recuperating". Yeah, he's having a great time at Chequers in the sunshine and has made sure that the inconsequential and inadequate Raab has been left holding the reins as he's no real threat to Boris in the long term.
Diddly. Rubbish!!
Danny - don't just say "rubbish" without any reason to back you up.
He is recovering well at Chequers. If he is still recovering he is still not 100%. The NZ nurse has been interviewed. He would not of been in ICU unless he was seriously ill. Have you ever been seriously ill.? I was in an Isolation hospital in Neasden many years ago with a near death high fever. I lost about 3 stone in as many weeks. It took me just over a month to regain strength and return to work. I am not sure I would not wish coronavirus on even you diddly but believe me you have to have been there or something like there to acknowledge that it will knock you flat for ages. I was a young 22 year old and normally healthy and fit. I can imagine exactly what it was like.
My parents were summoned from Nottage in S.Wales to see me through closed windows just like corvid patients. It was assumed I might snuff it.
All the time we're being told that Boris is still in control. Well, he's not in control if he's doing zilch except gagging the cabinet ministers put in front of us each day and preventing them from (a) giving honest answers to questions (b)giving the people a clue about the move out of lockdown and when it might happen.
Diddly, you tell Danny not to say rubbish without a reason to back it up but you’re talking rubbish without a reason to back it up. How
I've given reasons for my opinion - what more do you want?
Retro - You did well to recover that quickly. I had a near death last summer and still haven't fully recovered.
