Whats so good about teeth flossing?
Hardly ever floss my teeth, had very little dental work done.
Floss my teeth and end up with a mouth full off blood...?

??
Do you floss?
Do you bleed like a pig with haemophilia if you do?

As my teeth are crammed together and crooked it is impossible for me to floss but a water flosser does an excellent job. I have very little, if any, plaque for my dentist to remove at my annual check ups
Simply flossing your teeth can make them look brighter by removing plaque and excess food particles that you may not see in the mirror or in areas that your toothbrush doesn't reach. It also helps prevent tooth decay and can reduce your risk of developing gum disease by removing plaque.
I find one has to be careful of which floss one purchases. Some shred themselves during use, only to get stuck and difficult to get out from between the teeth again. Especially if trying to avoid pulling off crowns or inlays. Find one you like and stick to it (or not stick to it, as the case may be).
tamborine...all the "poor in Africa" don't have the sugar-loaded food and drink either.....
Can't believe you said that, tambo
Yes, I floss and use interdental brushes as well. Its amazing how much debris I get between my teeth. No I don't bleed at all.
Nails......you keep asking for a Philosophy category. This is therefor your Flossophy thread.

As regards plaque build up, my dentist doesnt seem to think that I have any, tells me my goofers are in good nick and carry on cleaning them as I do.
(the only plaque that DOES seem to accummilate is between my two front lower teeth, which overlap slightly and where I cant get floss between anyway)
Hi Nails.

No, not yet. Might be a bit later though when the drugs kick in ;-)

Flossing always makes my teeth hurt! BUT you get bits of food stuck in between your teeth that you'll never be able to remove with brushing alone, and this is the purpose, I believe.
