Is that believe in freedom of speech or believe in censorship?
Freedom of speech doesn't exist in the UK. You have freedom of expression but only if it's not detrimental to others.
I can say anything I like, even on this site. There are ways of getting your point across without being offensive or abusive.
I suspect most will pay lip service (pun intended) to it, but some may be uncomfortable with subsequent interpretations of the principle.

hc - so why do Eds/Mods remove posts/close threads with no apparent rhyme nor reason? Answer - to stifle comments/further discussion. That smacks of a totalitarian regime.
Total freedom or reasonable limit freedom ?
Diddly // - to stifle comments/further discussion. That smacks of a totalitarian regime.//
You really are deluded.
Why would editors create a site to generate traffic to then stifle debate and discussion? Makes no sense diddlydo.
/// That smacks of a totalitarian regime. ///

I've said it before, hell hath no fury like a poster scorned.
................yawn..........losing the will to live, perhaps post 12/12 I will revert :-(
AB is not a democracy. Abide by the rule, good and not so good .
/// I will revert ///

That will be interesting pocorter ;-)
At the edge of our village is a beautiful park. Tucked away in a far corner behind tall hedges is a podium with a sign.
HAVE A RANT HERE.

A wonderful idea.....folk can rant or moan without the rest of us having to put up with them.... x
RantaBank :-)
An open message to the moaners and carpers - who can’t accept that there are rules and that the imposition and interpretation of said rules is entirely at the discretion of the management :

1. This is a free site - no-one pays for a service - if you don’t like what is provided then you have an absolute right not to contribute.

2. Please read point 1 again - quite slowly, with your lips moving if necessary to help your comprehension.

3. Please don’t bang the door on your way out.
Let me buy you a pint, s-d :-)
LOL .
are you suggesting that this site is run by a totalitarian regime, strange i thought that ED does his job rather well
