Thank you sj .
sorry to hear that, anne. For myself, quietly in my sleep will do; I'd rather not know it was coming.
Sorry to here this news Anne my best wishes and condolences are with you xx
I think we all hope to be afforded the same (quick) death. My Dad died when he was strimming the lawn. At the time I was distraught but when I look back now, that wasn't a bad way to go.
A peaceful passing is not a lot to ask is it?

Sorry your friend has has died Anne x

My friends father died on the golf course, she said for him that would be just perfect.
Yes, Anne. And to your friend RIP.
Many condolences, anne.
I suppose I'd prefer it to happen where it will cause least upset to others; my father died at work, which was a shock to the office girls.
My Mum said she would like to "Snuff it on a plane" I was on an aircraft with her when she said that. I could have killed her! Sorry to digress. It must be strange when your peers come to the end of their lives. I guess it comes to us all eventually.

I am just so happy she died painfree, peaceful and her family surrounding her. She deserved that .
When my Father passed away we new it was going to happen but not when, but my brother and I were holding his hands when the time came for him to die.
That's good. When you hear about some of the traumatic deaths that some people endure, it's comforting to know that your loved ones had a peaceful death.
That’s lovely, anne.

I think we all wish for that experience of death. Or does it really matter ?
I think it does Anne. In my experience anyway
When my time comes I would prefer to die painlessly or under the wheels of a bus feeling nothing.
Am sorry to read this anne :( xx

I think that's what we all wish for, peaceful and pain-free.
Sorry for your loss.

It's so very hard to watch someone die in pain. It's also very shocking when someone dies unexpectedly.

I'm glad your friend died peacefully.
