Walking dogs in the park, DIL collapsed unconscious for 15 minutes. With friend who called ambulance. Discharged from Ozzy five hours later and referred to Walton Neuro for whatever. Still no word from Walton. She rang them and they said not received papers yet from Arrowe A&E.
She is worried sick. We all are.
Mind working overtime.

How old is your DIL, theland? And any known health problems? (If you want to say). I'm sure she is in the best hands, and hope she recovers very quickly. Thinking of you all xx
"She" is your wife? Xx
Question Author
My eldest sons wife. 34
Question Author
No previous health problems apart from back pain occasionally from an injury years ago from RTA.
Sorry, theland, I meant who had rung the hospital. I hope they find the cause soon and all is well xx
She obviously lives on the Wirral....Walton Neurosurgical Unit is excellent.
If she had anything serious, then Arrowe Park would not have discharged her particularly as you say was unconscious for 15 mins.

From what you say....it is no big deal.
Question Author
That's great Squad. Very reassuring. Thank you.
Sorry to hear to hear this and hope you get the news you want.
Question Author
Obviously I cannot ask her personal questions, but could it have been something to do with her menstrual cycle?
Ectopic? No idea really, but is possible.
Unlikely if she was out for 15 minutes.
Bad times Theland, I wish your DIL a speedy recovery and no long lasting repercussions. Try not to panic too much. She's in good hands.
same here as to thoughts, Theland......fingers crossed and the rest.
Hope they get to the cause soon for her.x
Hope it's nothing to worrying. Best wishes.x
Question Author
She just texted me. She is signed off work two weeks, not allowed to drive and very stressed.
Might sound mad but I wish she was pregnant, but I doubt that it is.
Does she wish that, theland? I know pregnant women can feel a bit faint or dizzy, but I haven't known any to pass out for that long, except with ectopic. I would expect they would have checked for that quite quickly in a young woman though.
Best wishes to her xx
Question Author
Not something ever discussed.
pixie...the salient feature of an ectopic is severe and crippling abdominal pain..........this she didn't seem to experience.
Question Author
No. No pain at all. Still shaky hours later though.
