Never.
Not knowingly. But advertisers are very good at surreptitiously influencing us. Otherwise they wouldn’t pay huge amounts for the time and space.
yes, I just saw calgon now do a gel so I bought it instead of the tablets.... also am looking into select specs
"As seen on TV" was a big one when i was a kid..

Now the adult version of that is "JML" and i'm quite alright thanks.

I have, but like Jordy I now record everything and zoom through the adverts so I doubt I'll be doing it again.

And why are only 313 Tory mp aloud to vote for the next leader of the next opposition ?
A new flavour of crisp once.
In my younger days I bought a few KTel products because I saw them advertised on tv. A record selector was one.
Well it worked for me spath (lol).
Do advertisements work ?

'' They propose that advertising works by creating patterns of associations that have emotional force, and that influence purchasing behaviour, often unconsciously. ... Therefore, the way an ad makes you feel may also be important, because this contributes to the long-term associations that you have for the brand. ''
I used Uswitch to switch power providers and would not have known about them without the advert. Was pleased with how easy it was and I got an excellent deal, only available to Uswitch users. Saved myself nearly £40 per month on what I was being quoted by the company I was with.
They inform me of something's existence. I think they have minimal persuasive effect, but on the other hand, I also don't reject something simply because I saw it advertised, either.
Probably lots of things, not that I can name one
Nothing I can think of.
I never bought any Shake 'n' Vac although I knew all the words of the song.
