has anyone received compensation for under-paid Incapacity Benefit as was widely reported last year?
I have looked on the website which says people who were claiming IB in the periods stated should not claim but will receive payment automatically. It is now almost 6 months into 2019 and nothing more has been said about the situation. I cannot find out whether I have been overlooked or payments are still ongoing.
Can anyone enlighten me.
Many thanks.

I got a letter from DWP months ago telling me about his potential underpayment of benefit. It asked me to confirm whether I had savings for the relevant period (which I had). I sent it back and DWP then confirmed that I was not getting any extra/backdated money from them.

This link explains it - https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/oct/17/disabled-benefit-claimants-to-get-extra-16bn-after-rate-correction

I can't see anything in any of the articles that give any contact details.
