A tea bag currently costs about 1p. So a 100% price hike, which is far more than the actual predicted rise, would increase the price of a cuppa (in my own home) by 1p. I might be hard up but I reckon that I can just about cope with that!
However I wouldn't be at all surprised to find many cafe owners adding an exra 10p or 20p to the price of a cup of a tea and blaming the Kenyan drought for it.

Wouldn't surprise me either. Went into Morrison's café for a cup of tea. The lady threw a teabag in a cup. When I asked for it to be filled with water she told me I had to do it myself from the boiler.
-That'll be £!, please-
-No it effing won't! You can stick your teabag where the sun don't shine!-
