Listening to Radio 2 News this morning they announced that they are expecting there to be tea shortages and a large price hike due to poor harvests in several of the tea growing areas. Will you be stocking up?

I won't panic buy, if the price rises I'll either buy it or cut down.

I have not had a cup of tea for 20+ years or more and my wife rarely drinks it, so no.

I like my cup of tea but during the day I drink quite a bit of water also
Tea not essential, but like it when out and about.
Brexit will no doubt get the blame for this as well.
Droughts in Kenya I believe , which is where most of our tea comes from.
Dinosaurs like me would blame the Colonial War.
Revolutionary
I don't drink tea or coffee.
I only drink hot drinks occasionally. So no, won't stock up.
Hmmm.

A tea bag currently costs about 1p. So a 100% price hike, which is far more than the actual predicted rise, would increase the price of a cuppa (in my own home) by 1p. I might be hard up but I reckon that I can just about cope with that!

However I wouldn't be at all surprised to find many cafe owners adding an exra 10p or 20p to the price of a cup of a tea and blaming the Kenyan drought for it.
Wouldn't surprise me either. Went into Morrison's café for a cup of tea. The lady threw a teabag in a cup. When I asked for it to be filled with water she told me I had to do it myself from the boiler.

-That'll be £!, please-

-No it effing won't! You can stick your teabag where the sun don't shine!-
No. I don't even know how much tea costs so I wouldn't notice an increase in price.
Won't be stocking up, won't notice the price change and I'd probably pay anything anyway, I could never give up tea.
My Grandmother turns into a homicidal maniac without tea Prudie, I just couldn't imagine a deeper horror than her when she's tea deprived.
Book her into rehab Cal.
Seriously 1ozzy you've got no idea, just don't approach her before the first tea of the day and preferably not before the third.lol
Well I will now after your suggestion!
I'd only drink tea if they discovered a new plant - a coffee-flavoured tea plant :-)
I drink a lot of tea, including mint tea and fruit teas, makes a nice, refreshing cuppa. I won't be stocking up
