How old were you and where was it to?

For me it was 16 and to Majorca in 1978.

September 1967 aged 20 from Gatwick to Majorca in a Britannia, with rear facing seats. Two weeks full board , with transfers cost £48, of which £16 was the hotel cost, which was deducted from the £50 foreign exchange allowance on the Form V, leaving £34 to take in Pesetas and £25 in Sterling for necessary items such as beer, beer and more beer and any left...

I was 16 and I flew to Malaga, staying in Fuengirola. I was instantly struck with the holiday bug. I actually have 4 holidays booked now, and we are looking to book our honeymoon pretty soon for January 2021.

I was 52. The first time I had ever had a foreign holiday. We went to Florida in 2000. The flight was for 8 hours and a bit boring. These days I'm not interested in foreign holidays. I'd be quite happy to holiday in the UK.
