Just opened a bottle of Indian tonic water
I had a few mouthfuls and then noticed something black , on the side of the bottle , on the inside .

It's like a smear patch of something

What would you do ?
Should it be a concern , healthwise?

Google Donohue v Stevenson for things in bottles!
presumably not this?

Could be anything, I suppose, but presumably not meant to be there. Nothing much to do but monitor the situation, keeping a packed overnight bag by the bed if you're really nervous. But the fact that it's adhered to the glass rather than mixing with the drink suggests you're probably okay.
Chuck it down the sink.
^^ that should be Donoghue.
Take it back to the shop you got it from?

I would expect the worst if I was you Baz. get yourself a good Solicitor and Doctor, and go get 'em while you can.
He's gone very quiet, some of those nasties work very fast.
At least it wasn't a dead snail, as happened to old Mrs Donoghue.

jno
It could be that what I'm seeing, is what's left of something , that was mixing with the drink and which I have drank .
it's the Genie !! damn ..did you get a quick wish in ?
As long as you added a large glug of gin, you should live.

Take this seriously
Well, seeing that you posted your question just after midnight and it’s now nearly half nine and you seem in rude health.......

But it could be something that affects my health , further down the road
If you are that worried contact Trading Standards who might get it analysed for you.
You could get run over by a bus too.
if you are still standing with no ill effects 9 hours later, then forget it !!
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
I'd expect any residue from something that mingled with the fluid to be on the bottom of the bottle rather than the side, like the muck you sometimes still get with red wine. The fact that it's still there suggests your mixer didn't mix with it. By all means invite trading standards to analyse it, though.
As it was inside the bottle it will have been sterile, so nothing to worry about.
