Following on from the 'warpaint for women' thread, I wondered what enhancers our male cohort use - assuming they don't go for the au naturel 'pheromonal sweatiness' fragrance?
I used to be a Chanel Égoïste man (the original one, not the ghastly Platinum version) - but recently have mainly been using L'Occitane Baux and occasionally a bottle of 'Connemara' which I picked up in Ireland - theoretically for females, but actually a very distinctive 'aromatic and manly' (so I'm told) fragrance.
My other half uses in order of his preference Kiehls Musk 1851, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tom Ford 'Kcufing' Fabulous, Hugo Boss or just deodorant when he's scuffing around the house.
Connemara is lovely....don't know if Dave knows I pinch a spray of his bottle.....
Matching perfume?....Hmmm....I'll have to make us matching bobble hats for the winter..... ;-)
I`d like to know why male fragrances cost less than female fragrances. Tends to happen with European companies. Not so much in the US. I`m surprised nobody has ever challenged that.
