Monday. The lovely hot weather goes on, I love it! I know some don't like the heat, and you have my sympathy.

Nothing particular to do today, but I'm sure something will occur. Like the car needing a clean! Or something important, like supervising the weeds growing.

Morning lina xxx I know it doesn't suit everyone. It reminds me of Malaysia, it's like this all year round, the temperature does drop a few degrees during the wet monsoon, but not by much.

Good morning, just about to go for my run, no one else about at the moment, not unusual.
Another lovely day in the making, I could get used to this.

Morning, I'm with you on the weather, just have to do things earlier in the day or later in the evening. Just one errand today, then back for another day of leg resting. I spent a pleasant afternoon winding bobbins of embroidery thread. A simple pleasure but the colours were so lovely and the action so simple it was very relaxing. By about 2 pm my flat is in shade and cools quickly perfect for warm evenings and more importantly sleeping.

Morning rowan. xxx That sounds like a pleasent and therapeutic way to relax. My bungalow faces East, so I watch the sunrise, Always enjoyable.

ENE here but I can see the sunset from the kitchen window so best of both worlds. It was a really lovely one last night. So high up as well the views are amazing at times. It would be hard to leave now, even for a bungalow with a garden which I could apply for now.

That sounds nice rowan. I do like a good view, and I do have one here. A two minute walk and I can see right across the Severn Vale, it's beautiful.

I forgot to add, I'm 280 feet above mean sea level, so I suppose I could say I'm in a high rise! :o}

Best of all then, regardless of our losses I think we are both lucky people, we know that life when kept simple can be wonderful.

Indeed. That's very well put rowan. We are both lucky to have met our soulmates, to have loved them and been loved by them. That kind of love never dies, regardless of what the future holds.

I'm not far from the sea and the River Severn. The longest river in UK. I used to spend a lot of time on one or the other, not so much now.
