Morning all. Nothing yet from Boaty. Perhaps his poota is still sulking?

Back home now after nearly 24 hours without sleep. Can't wait to see how high the grass has grown while we've been away.

Morning all. It ain't the poota, the Kindle is the same, so it's probably the router. I'l be onto them for a new one later today. So if I disappear again that's the reason.

Yesterday was hot and sunny. The garden furniture is now pristine and the barbie ready for use.

It's misty this morning. Some out and about today. How long all that is going to take remains to be seen.

Good luck with that Boaty. Spent whole flight listening to my iPod music and watching the downward camera on the aircraft. (Can't/couldn't sleep.). As it was a day flight, it was light all the way. Saw some amazing landscape. What a contrast between deserts and the 'green and pleasant land' of Blighty. Even compared with mainland Europe, our green seemed even greener. Perhaps they haven't had as much rain?

One 'scary' moment, another aircraft passing below suddenly filled the whole screen as it shot under. I'm sure it was OK but wait to hear reports of a near miss!

That's a good idea arrods...until another aircraft flies below you that is! You had a good holiday, that's the main thing.

Still foggy here. Doesn't look like it's going to change either.

I asked one of our sons to check on our post and possibly give the lawn a mow - but only if he was passing I emphasised. Judging by the difficulty opening the front door and the jungle out the back, I'm guessing he didn't pass by!
