Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. Yesterday was warm and sunny, it was lovely down on the canal. We had exactly 100 visitors. some lovely people came in, and some delightful four legged visitors too.
I'm back down there later this morning, a wee natter with someone whose on duty today.
Just the usual today, get the paper and a bit of shoplifting before I go.

I hope today is as nice as yesterday.

Morning boaty. I spent a pleasant two hours at quar abbey on the Isle of Wight yesterday. Sitting in the sun, then contemplating in the abbey itself. Summer is a coming.

If yesterday is anything to go by, summer is indeed on it's way.

I've just been watching the netball in Australia. England have just won the gold medal, beating Australia by one goal!

Hi WBM et al, This is early for me but to be honest I have been awake all night. Redman and I were out for our usual weekly beers and on the way home he collapsed and was admitted to hospital. A CT showed a large secondary tumour in his brain. Although we knew the bad stuff would catch up with us eventually and although it was one of the most likely pathways I still feel in shock. He still looked so well. At least he got the beers in first.

not good, had to call out of hours doctor, still feel bunged up which i am, and also found out i have a urine infection to add to it all.

Forgot to say... they hope to shrink it a bit with steroids now all I have to do is find a route by bus to the hospital which is miles away. We were away from our local area at the time
