How To Behave Towards My Ex Girlfriend Who Cheated And Lied?

So I'm a 19 year old guy and I was in a relationship with a cute girl, she's 17. After a month she dumps me over text. She was even planning for us to go to the gym together.

2 weeks later I found out out that she has cheated on me and got in a relationship with that guy (17).

I gave her a call so she would know that I know what she has done (in calm voice). Told her that she didn't have to lie and that we could just talk and it would be fine.

3 months later she is still in relationship with that guy.

I started working out in the gym on regular basis. She goes to the same gym. I know that, we were supposed to go there together (it makes the breakup even more unexpected). One day, while going to the changing rooms I notice her working out. She immediately notices me, looks at me 2-3 times and moves her look away. I did look at her too, but there was no communication.

A week later, after the lifting session, I'm going with my personal trainer to do some crunches and stretching. It's her, 5 m away (like 15 feet). I immediately striked a funny conversation with my trainer. Didn't give her even a look. Passed by her a few times, didn't even say hello to her. Feeling so proud of myself, not giving a **** about someone who betrayed my trust.

I didn't post sad or depressing stuff on instagram, just me being happy and enjoying life.

Did I act good? How should I behave further on? Should I send her a Happy New Year text?

Should I put some quote in my instagram story that would tingle her mind?

I was really good with her mom and she seemed to like me. If I meet her somewhere I guess that I should be nice to her and that I should not mention her daughter, right?

Also: I lost 8 Kg (17,6 pounds) since we broke up and I do look better. She must have noticed that (all my college colleagues noticed the positive change in my appearance though).

If you meet her by chance smile and act politely. Don't seek her out or try to "tingle her mind" whatever that is. If you meet her mother by chance smile and act politely. Don't seek her out. basically move on.
Definitely don't ask her mother out.
lol dave, great advice
52% of the worlds population is female - dump the angst and find another more relaible lady.
Why are you bothered?

I understand the cheating must have hurt but you were with her for a month and she's been with the new fella for 3 months.

Just be polite and move on.
A month is really a very short period for a relationship if you want to call it that. I think you are thinking way too much about what she supposedly did and your response. Just move on, and find another girl. There may be many more before you find the right one.
'Relaible lady' is the Freudian slip of the week. :-)

How can she have cheated on you when she had dumped you 2 weeks previous ?.
Tony - because he found out after he'd been dumped that she'd been seeing the other guy while they were together.
Ah right, I see now.

Anyhoo doodleBob, move on. Plenty more fish in the sea and all that.
Just be polite. It was scarcely a relationship after just a month. She realised that it wasn't going to work, told you and began a new, more lasting relationship. She hasn't done anything wrong.

No, you didn't act well - you made a difficult situation worse for her. As I said, just be polite and as normal as possible - it will pass. You are both very young, treat it lightly. There will be someone else for you. :)
You have two choices Doodle. Either get pumped and give her a kick in the "funny", or swim smooth, get lean, and get even. By that I mean thank yourself lucky you are no longer in the clutches of an emotion vampire........that is of course if you aren't. :))
She's 17!!!

The use of the word 'Mom' suggests you are most likely in The States, with different Social Standards to the UK, don't see how we can help tbh.
Act well.
Nod next time you see her, otherwise deliberately ignoring her shows she still has an effect on you. Maybe in subsequent meetings say "Hi", and pass by to continue what you're doing. It's not like you don't know each other, you have simply moved on from a relationship. A cordial attitude is best.

Try not to be obsessed about how better you think you look. It's irrelevant to the issue.

Haha I'm actually in Croatia. But still, I think that it doesn't matter a lot.

@ummmm so what, it's only 2 years of difference and it's pretty legal.
you are both too immature to be in a relationship.

Carry on getting buffed and toned in the gym, purely for your own health and well-being
Croatia ? - - dobre djien
or is it Dshen dobre ? ...... anyway
go on going to the gym and find another girl
I think ummmm was just reacting to Togo's description of her as an "emotion vampire"...rather harsh that.
The gym, is that where you pick up chicks these days,. Was disco's and pubs in my day ;-)
