Hi Sqad - I think you are looking in.

I was prescribed Naproxen for pain but I find they are simply no good.

Would you say buying the Ibrufen OTC is better.

Thanks

Depends which and what sort of pain from which you are suffering.
Naproxin acts in exactly the same way as Ibuprofen, both are non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs.
I wonder if your pain is anything to do with your thread below, where a diagnosis on the slimmest of evidence has been given.
I await your reply.

Thanks for answering. Do you mean Tennis Elbow - I do suffer from fibromyalgia which is the main cause of the pain throughout my body. Also this is the left elbow and just to let you know I did break my collar bone (3 breaks) and left shoulder blade in February.

Do you think there is a connection. Thanks
I wasn't giving a diagnosis just a suggestion x
If you get tingling in your forearm with the pain which gets worse when you extend it , then malyh may well be correct in her diagnosis of Tennis Elbow.
I cannot see any connection between your past fracture of the shoulder joint and your elbow problem.
I also cannot see any advantage in changing from Naproxen to Ibuprofen, just up you dose of Naproxen.
mallyh....LOL....O.K....just a suggestion.
But you may well be right.
I thought you were telling me off x
