He needs to see a podiatrist or a chiropodist. The attached nhs site has a link to find them. They will advise you of the cost

Its there a reason why your OH can’t use an OTC treatment?
Question Author
He can't use corn plasters as he has Intermittant Claudication and they contain Salicylic acid.
A week or two ago, I had a tiny skin-tag removed from an eyelid. Had to go private, as the NHS consultant I originally approached said that would be 'cosmetic' and it could not be done as an NHS treatment. (Actually, tag was extremely annoying and I was not over-fussed about being pretty!)
It took three minutes and cost £300.00 and the procedure at the nearby private hospital was carried out by...guess who...the very same consultant!
My podiatrist charges £35.00 per session. Money well spent.
