Get some sleep!
"Puffy under eyes?".....you mean bags under your eyes.
Forget creams etc....you need surgery...Blephoraplasty.
Google it.
cotton pad soaked in witch hazel helps a wee bit with over tired eyes
Apparently hemorrhoid cream is good.
And Sqad's advice is a bit drastic. Puffy eyes can be due to lots of things. Dehydration being one of them.

I don't think so ummmm.....but if joko wants to stay with the hemorrhoid cream......fine.

It has nothing to do with lack of sleep and is usually genetically inherited. Pile cream is meant to be a quick fix as is 'my perfect eyes' but I believe that leaves a visible film and not good when used with make-up (not tried it myself). For a quick fix I have found the grey Olay Clay mask quite good, it's the type that dries and tautens the skin, you wash it off after 5 or 10 minutes.
Sqad...I could get puffy eyes if I have too much sleep, too little sleep, drink too much alcohol...etc.

What I'd consider surgery for is permanent bags.
ummmm....read the original post.
Do you get the impression that this is a recent problem?
Neither do I.
I did read it. It might happen on a regular basis but it doesn't mean her eyes are always puffy.
Joko.....stick with the hemorrhoid cream.

thanks all

actually it is a fairly new thing, so no theyre not 'bags', and surgery would be pointless.

they are not always puffy - in fact i've never really had it before until about the last year or two.
thats why im asking - for something to counteract whatever is causing it

i drink plenty of water. i do struggle with sleep but i'd think that usually makes tired eyes rather than puffy...?

some mornings the top bit is puffy too - but it usually goes down during the day.
Hi Joko, unfortunately there's not a lot you can do other than the sensible advice people on here have given you. You could also prop your pillow up at night which is supposed to help. I've said it before on here, that white wine doesn't help with puffy eyes! (I remember reading that in a health column of paper)
There are whole bunch of reasons, but let's move from the worst variants.
1)Puffy eyes can be a significant signal of cardiovascular or renal systems disorder. But, actually, puffy eyes wouldn't be the main symptom. When the heart is the problem, the edema under your eyes appears mostly at night, in a case with kidneys - in the morning. In case you feel problems with your heratbeat, you actually feel the heart's bump - you need immediately visit your doctor.
2) Also, it can occur when you are tired and sleepy. Five additional hours in your bed must change this situation.
3) If you have weed/alcohol abuse - it's also significant symptom
4) Rare case, but also possible - it's how it works in your body. Genetics+conditions. Honestly, not the worst configuration lol.

To fight with the puffiness under your eyes try to use some night cremes for skin, you can always make a "cucumber mask". Don't limit your water consume!!! Drink as much as you want. If you feel that it doesn't work - try to take some diuretics like Spironolakton or some light ones, but BEFORE - talk with your doctor!
Cheers!
