I am 52 and I look quite young for my age but I get puffy bags under the eyes (not due to lack of sleep) and they are ugly and make me look older!
I have tried the eye gels but they seem to make them look worse!
Anybody got any solutions,I'm fed up with looking like Barry Norman!

Try haemorroid cream, the celebs swear by it!
Actually, it's haemorroid GEL you need, not cream. It works!
Or if you don't want to use the cream already recommended, try the product "Eyesential", which works in the same way, but is specifically for the eye area. It's not permanant, so will probably last 6-8 hours.
Velvetee is that the one in the green box? If so a couple of my friends swear by it
The Sunday Mirror Mag (Celebs on Sunday I think it's called) had a 5 page spread yesterday on creams - they got x amount of women to test and I recall one tester saying an eye cream really helped her puffy eyes.

YSL - Touche Eclat does the trick for me..its cosmetic and not curative but really help! x
I've never tried it Nanny, as fortunately, have no lines or bags around the eyes. Could do with something for the ones on my forehead though.

thanks, I suppose I was after a cure rather than a make-up hiding type thing-the haemorroid gel sounds interesting,I'll have a try.
A cousin of mine had cosmetic surgery to get rid of her eye bags ganesh. They were so bad she was getting more embarrased each day and having tried everything she made the the decision to have her eye bags removed. The result was remarkable. She was referred by her gp btw.
I use Eyesential great stuff!
Is eyesential make up or a cream china?
What's this magic cream/gel called.. I could do with a bucket load!! lol
All of these suggestions are very good, but I have to agree with chinadog here. My friend's mum was in despair about her baggy, crepey eyes, and eventually had cosmetic surgery. I had to go up for a closer inspection when the bruising'd gone down. What a transformation! Absolutely brilliant.
I would agree, cosmetic surgery, have those loose bags just cut away.
Yeh Ice, My cousin was the same. Her dad had very baggy eyes and her sister so could have been genetic? She's much more confident since she had her suitcases done, her words not mine:-)
True - and I agree with Velvetee as well.
All the creams and potions in the world aren't going to hold back the sands of time for very long. Some people are fortunate in having good genes, but even so, as the years roll by, general exposure to sun, wind and old age get the better of us. Surgery is the ONLY solution, and if they're all as good as how my friend's mum looked - I'd definitely say go for it. x
I'd love to have an Endoscopic brow lift and cheek lift, lipo under my chin and neck and my top lip made a tiny bit plumper. I expect I'll also need a breast uplift and implants after I've breastfed.
Im 60 and got eye bags but Eyesential works for me. If they got any worse I think I'd be a hoodie, could'nt got under the knife! Me a coward? Aye!
Not necessarily, Velvetee - about the breast implants. I only breastfed my 2 children for a day each! After that, the milk completely dried up, and no amount of help from the women at the Breastfeeding Association'd bring it back. What having the children DID do, though was to add a couple of inches - but I've hardly any droop at all. I put that down to always wearing well-fitting bras and to doing exercise.
