I have red patches on either side on my nose, kinda on the nostril and where it meets the cheek if you get me.  I've had them as long as I can remember and I don't know what caused them.  I've tried various things to get rid of them:- clear pore strips, cleansers, creams etc.  Anybody got any ideas what might work?

It depends what has caused them.  If they are caused by broken thread veins then you can have that improved by treatment.  If it is just a high colour then not sure ... best thing would be to see your doctor and ask to be referred to a skin specialist or to ask if there is any medical reason for it.   If all else fails (not sure if you are male or female ... ) then make up with a slightly green tinge is available to lessen the redness, or a very good foundation like Estee Lauder.
see a doc as some illnesses have this as a symptom. lupus is one

I'm 19 and a girl.  I've had them since i was about 6 or so, it's just one of these things that bugs me occasionally.  Doesn't seem to be veins, just red skin.
