The first ever website I joined (think it was something to do with games) i had to pick a name, I tried for Songbird after the fleetwood mac song, and because I'm a singer, but it was taken and so were the other 100 names i tried.  I ended up with Englishbird as it was an american site and it was a bit of a pun.  I've used it ever since.
