Dont stay here if you want to use the bed for passion”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at this hotel last night. It was a small but adequate room. I thought we had a good stay until I received a phone call later to say I was being charged to have the room cleaned.
My husband and I had passion and left a damp patch on the bed, the hotel took £50 off my card for cleaning charges. I'm furious and very disappointed.
This is a copy of my email to them
Good afternoon.

I suggest you analyse the said sheets. I think you will discover the damp patch is a result of sex not urine. I will be adding a copy of my email on my trip advisor report later today.

I will be advising couples not to stay at *** ***** should they wish to partake of this natural act. As foster carers it was a rare treat for us to have a night out and away without the restraints of small children.

I hope you and your team do get some pleasure in life and hopefully some passion.

I am not happy about you taking money from my card and I will make this very clear on my report.

I have stayed in hotels all around the world. This is the first time in over 20 years that I have been charged for having sex with my husband.

Thank you for spoiling our night.

I most definitely will not be staying again!!!!!

Kind regards

Yes, I don't understand the kind regards either. Do you think it is for real ?
I really shouldn't skim read.....I thought this was Ron's experience.....☺
How ridiculous.
surely washing of sheets is included in the bill?
Lol, same here gness :-)
did it stain the mattress ?
"cleaning the room' is not 'washing the sheets'. Maybe their passions extended beyond the bed. It seems these days hotels can deduct what they like from your credit card without your authority.
Name and shame the hotel .
I thought washing of bed linen etc was basic hotel cleanliness and the cost included in the price of the room.
Good hotels should always have a mattress protector in situ.
Hotels should use mattress protectors, seems like a nice little earner.
You forgot to mention that the person was refunded and compensated.
Gness, did you spill your guinness again.....;-)
That may be, Diz...but I wonder how many ..."Mr and Mrs Smiths".. could be landed with that charge and don't complain for fear of discovery....☺☺
Cupid....whatever I get up to in hotels....I NEVER...waste Guinness.....☻
Practice strategically placing knickers or boxers to mop up fallout. I wouldnt happily sleep on others detritus ;(
Gness: I bet not many. They didn't have to say it was due to sexual activity. The chances are had someone just spilled a drink on the bed - they'd of been charged for cleaning the mattress. They publicised it on Trip Adviser to give them a bad rep. Best Western aren't going to lose bookings over £50.
It's never happened to me...I always stand on my head afterwards to prevent fallout ;-)
I've had a lot of dealings with BW hotels and they don't like the bad press. It's easy to demand money back from them and if it's a juicy story that could be taken to the press then.... you know what I mean.
Also, as a hotel chain, they take their reviews very seriously. Had this been mentioned to the manager before they departed, it would of been sorted out there and then.
So they won't be asked to cum again? :-)
