... this question emanates from a thread in News. Who among you has not at some time in your life been touched inappropriately by a WOMAN who was not your Girlfriend/Spouse and whose attentions were unwelcome? I don't mean 'rape' - I mean groped.

Went to a very posh dinner in London once with members of the Medical profession, Barrister and Civil servants.

Some of the answers here are typical of a sort of man that doesn't appreciate how devastating unwanted attention can be for a woman.
The same sort of man that leaves comments of news reports about a schoolboy being sexually abused by his teacher suggesting that the boy enjoyed it, or 'why didn't that happen when I was a schoolboy?'

I have seen young men being harangued and groped by a group of older women in the workplace and it is just as nasty as if it were a young woman being groped by her older, male colleagues.

Banter is fine if the target is able to reciprocate, and it is obvious all the parties are really having a laugh and a joke. If it makes the target uncomfortable it is not fine at all.
