You've got to stop using that old phone. What's the point having an iPhone if you never use it? How can you leave home without your iPhone? Etc ...

The latest "my phone is amazing because ..." argument was ...

... There's an App that let's you take stop motion videos!!"

Okay, so I don't think I've ever taken a stop motion video. Or wanted to. So my life will not fall apart if the phone I use day to day doesn't take stop motion videos, lol.

So, anyway ... What's the latest "can't live without" function?

It hasn't excited me yet, JJ.....though it has a home made blingy cover which is pretty exciting.....but then I live a sheltered life.....☺

Mine is fine. It has a caller display, and a loud ring. It even has a button for hands-free, plus a redial and a calls button. Plus it times how long the person who called me has chatted on the phone.

JJ, mine sounds like yours. I use it to make phone calls. It's a Samsung III. I don't access the internet on it other than for my occasional gmail account, and I send texts. I have no interest in downloading music, playing games, or taking videos.

Have a landline (need one for work when on-call), but feel no need to be constantly checking a mobile phone like most of the people I work with

Son decided I had to have the iphone and rings me on Facetime to make sure it's switched on and, you know what, I was able to log on to AB while away from home

I only gave in to a smart phone last year. Being able to get my home e-mails and access Google wherever I am is cool. Apps and games don't interest me much, the screen's too small.
