This could be it, am sure the Hospital will explain all though.

oh starts 'm' , sorry.
Can't thin k of one beginning with "M" .....but the eye is a big place....

The two common deposits of fat are:1)Pinguecula and 2) Pterygium.

Neither a big deal, but they can be associated with heart disease.

As a rank outsider beginning with "M" and containing fat...Meibomium Cyst.

Still no big deal.
could I offer Macular degeneration. It has an M
Could be macular disease with the deposits being drusen.
Is your friend having any symptoms or was this just a routine exam.
Macular Degeneration comes in two kinds the wet one can be treated but sorry to say the dry kind can cause blindness so it is better to get it checked out as soon as possible to see which kind it is.
