Has anyone taken this lately? I've put myself in the position where I really should take it, to be on the safe side. Problem is I'm terrified about being sick (enough to consider not taking the MAP - even though I know that being pregnant would make me sick etc etc). Apparently the MAP has now changed and far fewer women suffer the side effects i.e. vomiting - does anyone have any recent experience of taking it? Thanks

yup, i did and it was fine,  just felt a little queezy.  but, to be honest, i would take it again if i was silly again, cus the alternative is not just 9 months of sickness... it's 18 years of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!

and once you've taken it, then it makes you think and be more sensible next time yr feeling horny :o)

take care

i've not taken it but i am almost a doctor - only a year to go. i chose the alternative of ignorance and had to have a termination due to my embarrassment of getting the MAP.. the morning sickness was horrific, so trust me, a few days of possible sickness is nothing in comparison, i hope it goes well
Need to take it withing 2-3 days, the longer you leave it, the less effective it is. I have taken it once and its not that bad, they give you medication for nausea and vomiting that you can take with them to lessen the side effects, also the GP can screen you for STD's which is also important. Ciao.
I took it to be on the safe side about a year ago, and suffered no side effects whatsoever. It's better to be safe than sorry (and stupid).
i've taken it - the one in the purple and had no side effects at all
Took it 2 days ago and don't know what all the fuss is about!! i was prepared for all sorts of side effects and honestly forgot all about it after a couple of hours! I think that maybe because i take the pill anyway my body is used to the hormones but at the end of the day as someone else said - if sickness is what you're worried about then you don't wanna get pregnant!
I know this isn't setting a very good example, but I've taken it loads of times!  I have never been sick or even felt unwell on it. It does effect different people differently. Just take it, if you haven't already.
I've taken it twice and had no side effects whatsoever.  For goodness' sake take it - the alternative is far worse than a bit of feeling sick!

Hi Guys, thanks for all your answers! Took it early this morning and apart from feeling a tiny bit dizzy I haven't had any side effects at all - took it, in part, due to your answers that reassured me. Hopefully I won't have to take it again, but if I need to I won't hesitate. Thank you very much !!!
Just to clarify CATANORY, its not just 18 years of your life - its the rest of your life.
