Its been a lovely afternoon here in Leicestershire, the morning was dreary cloud but the sun came out about 2.30 and we have been in the garden all afternoon, working hard! Gave our rambling rose a massive haircut and OH just taken 6 bags to the tip.
What have you been doing?
I only do crosswords in the pub and I'm not there at the moment :(
(It's part of our Sunday evening ritual. Reg brings in a crossword printed off from the Guardian website and then Reg, Tom and I somehow, and usually with a lot of crossing out, manage to finish it).
It's been pleasant but overcast here in Suffolk (and I've been doing very little at all, except for making a fuss of the cat)
Did you get your travel insurance sorted out, Ann?
I've been busy digging potatoes ont allotment. I got 4 sacks full, enough to last us 'till after crimbo. All-in-all it's been an excellent year for home-grown veg, although runner beans for every meal is wearing a bit thin:-)
It's been a nice mild day here in Yorkshire, shopped this morning and got the washing dried. Hopefully it will be nice tomorrow too.
Know what you mean about the green beans for every meal, also tomatoes, baking apples, cucumbers. I've been inundated with fruit and veg from lovely friends and neighbours, I don't need to do any growing. Baked apple pies today.
We have been to Paws in the Park at Detling, Kent. A whole day surrounded by hundreds of dogs. Bliss. (Yes I know some people would rather stick pins in their eyes!)
It's been a lovely day all day here in Kent. We ran some errands in the morning, I put the washing out, did a bit of clipping and trimming of the shrubs.
